Program Background
The City launched the School Zone Safety Camera Pilot Program in partnership with the Woodinville Police and Public Works departments to improve safety for students traveling to and from school.
Following a traffic safety and equity analysis, NE 195th Street between 136th Avenue NE and 130th Avenue NE was selected as the pilot location. School zone safety cameras help reduce speeding, encourage safer driving, and improve safety for students, families, and the community.
