The Miyawaki Method uses densely planted native trees and shrubs to quickly establish healthy, thriving forest ecosystems. The tree planting site is adjacent to Little Bear Creek and our temporary dog park.

The Miyawaki tree planting method uses dense plantings of diverse native species to quickly establish a healthy, resilient forest ecosystem. The new forest will help improve soil health, provide habitat for wildlife, reduce invasive vegetation, and create a lasting environmental asset for our community.
