2025 Community Satisfaction Survey
The City of Woodinville is conducting a survey to assess resident satisfaction with life in Woodinville. The survey is being conducted in two phases: a limited phase and an open phase.
The survey is based on the National Community Survey (NCS), a standard model that will allow Woodinville to compare its results to other participating cities and towns.
What to expect
The survey will be conducted in two phases: a limited phase and an open phase.
Limited Phase: Randomly selected households will receive mailed survey invitations starting August 29, 2025. If you receive an invitation, please follow the instructions and make your voice heard.
Open Phase: If you're not selected in the first phase, a second phase will open to everyone in the community in late September. We'll share the survey link along with reminders and updates through the City's website and social media channels as that date approaches.
Purpose The purpose of the survey is to receive resident input on City programs and services. The information compiled from this survey will be used to improve existing programs and services as well as inform future policies and decisions. The National Community Survey has been administered in Woodinville since 2017 and is a standardized and scientifically valid survey tool designed to gather resident opinions about various aspects of community life and local government services. Developed by the National Research Center (NRC), now part of Polco, in partnership with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), it has been used in hundreds of communities nationwide.
Next Steps The National Community Survey results will be compiled in a report by Polco and shared with the City Council and the community at a city council meeting later this year.
