The City of Woodinville conducted its biennial Resident Community Survey by inviting community members of all ages to share their thoughts and perspectives through a resident community-wide survey September-October 2025.

The City is grateful to the community for taking the time to provide valuable input to help the City understand residents’ priorities, concerns, and insights!

👉 The RESIDENT COMMUNITY SURVEY is now closed. Thank you for your participation!

Survey Background

The City of Woodinville conducts a biennial community survey to assess resident satisfaction with life in Woodinville. The 2025 Community Survey was conducted in two phases: a limited phase (randomly selected households were invited to take the survey) and an open phase (for the entire community to take part).

The survey is based on the National Community Survey (NCS), a standard model that will allow Woodinville to compare its results to other participating cities and towns.

Purpose
The purpose of the survey is to receive resident input on City programs and services. The information compiled from this survey will be used to improve existing programs and services as well as inform future policies and decisions. The National Community Survey has been administered in Woodinville since 2017 and is a standardized and scientifically valid survey tool designed to gather resident opinions about various aspects of community life and local government services. Developed by the National Research Center (NRC), in partnership with the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), it has been used in hundreds of communities nationwide.

Next Steps
The National Community Survey results will be compiled in a report by Polco, posted on this webpage, and shared with the City Council and the community at a future council meeting in early 2026.
