The project will construct a new roundabout at the intersection of Woodinville-Redmond Road (SR202) and NE 145th Street to improve traffic flow, increase the intersection capacity, and improve driver, cyclist, and pedestrian safety. The existing stop-controlled intersection will be replaced with a modern roundabout designed to accommodate growing traffic demand in the area.
The project is being funded in part by a private developer, Wood Mountain/Harvest as part of a nearby development, with the City of Woodinville assuming long-term ownership and maintenance. Upon completion, the improvement will enhance intersection efficiency, reduce delays, and provide safer conditions for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Traffic Impacts
Once construction begins, there will be traffic impacts in the area with temporary lane closures at times. Traffic control measures will be in place to manage local vehicle flow. The City appreciates the public's patience and cooperation during this construction project.
